Screening a visual tribute video at a ceremony helps family and friends recall moments in the life of their loved one. Together, you can all relive special memories and reflect on moments shared.
As a celebrant, once I've sat with the family and talked about their loved one's life, it feels natural for me to sit down and also put the visual tribute together. I will know about poignant moments in their life that can be referred to in both the visual and written word of the ceremony.
I can create a beautiful video or slideshow to help remember the life of a loved one who has passed that will help tell their story with dignity and care.
Creating a worthy tribute for a loved one is hard work, so I will take most of the worry and stress out of it for you. All you need to do is upload some images and video to Dropbox or give them to me on USB and I will do the rest.
Having your celebrant create the tribute video enables them to see deeper into the person's life that they'll be paying tribute to during the ceremony and therefore will enable them to have more of an understanding of their life.
What's the best format for a ceremony?
Everyone is different. Some people like to put everything into one video to play during the ceremony (Basic and Standard Packages below). Other people like to spread it out a little with two smaller packages. One to play near the start of the ceremony and the other to play later in the ceremony (Premium Package below). There are no rules for funerals. It's completely up to you and how you want to celebrate the life of your loved one.
If you would like something different to the packages I have outlined below, please ask.
MY 4 STEP PROCESS MAKES IT EASY FOR YOU
1. After we've met, you upload photos and video to Dropbox and share the link with me via email
(or give me a USB with them on).
2. I go to work creating a fitting tribute to your loved one according to the package you have chosen.
3. I send a link to you to view the draft version. You come back to me with any changes.
4. I make the requested changes and then make sure the funeral home can access the video.
You will be able to download your own copy from this link as a keepsake.
If you wish I can also provide a version on USB.
