You made us at ease and surprised us (in a good way) with the research you had done to personalise our ceremony. To make it unique to us.
We loved having you part of it. You felt like family. I wouldn’t change a thing. Some people travel through life just doing their job. Steve did such a wonderful job at the ceremony. His material was engaging and personalised to my Husband and I. His script wasn't simply rote material repeated in his ceremonies.
Many of our friends and family asked us where we found Steve, complimenting his service which was a credit to Steve.
On the morning of our wedding, prior to the ceremony, Steve sent individual video messages to my husband and I. He was a calming influence; I felt everything was in hand - which it was. Steve even asked my husband what colour he was wearing so he could match his outfit! Such an amazing attention to detail.
Steve, I would happily recommend you to anyone and everyone. You truly did an amazing service. It was faultless.

"We were so lucky to have Steve as our marriage celebrant and would highly recommend him. We were looking for someone who had a little bit of humour but could also keep the ceremony a little more traditional and he did just that! Steve gave us some great ideas of things to add into our ceremony like doing rock/paper/scissors to decide who would do their vows 1st which added in a bit of fun as well as our music artist playing guitar softly in the background whilst we did our vows which made it a very unique and memorable ceremony. Steve also speaks very clearly and has a great voice. Many of our guests commented on how great Steve was and how much they loved our ceremony. “Steve not only met our expectations but he absolutely blew them out of the water!! From our first meeting we knew straight away that we had chosen the right celebrant!! He was there every step of the way with helpful advice and went above and beyond to make our wedding feel personalised.
The ceremony itself was like no other we had experienced. It was personal and tailored to us with some funny anecdotes. He kept that perfect balance between an emotional and entertaining & light speech. Everybody at our wedding expressed how much they loved the ceremony and we could not have been happier. Due to Covid, we had to livestream our wedding – family and friends in Europe, New Zealand and in the US said how good that ceremony was!
They have never experienced such a good ceremony/speech. Steve truly set us up for the perfect day!!

“Steve Mummery was born to do this! Our ceremony was described by several of our guests as "the best ceremony" they have ever seen.
His entertaining, thoughtful and brilliant storytelling comes so naturally. Our first meeting with Steve, he understood our story through his process of questions without us having to cringefully retell the story.
Usually the ceremony is the "formal" and "boring" part of a wedding but not when Steve is at the helm. On the day, when nerves are at all time high, Steve's calming and caring moments he spends separately with both the bride and groom are so meaningful and appreciated it allowed me to walk down the isle with a spring in my step rather than shaking like nervous wreck.
